“I feel like we’ve been in the castle for such a long time but it’s gone so fast, it`s been our home”, Jessica says after being voted off.
On Tuesday night, Jessica Plummer and Russel Watson became the latest stars to be evicted from I`m A Celebrity. Due to the coronavirus, the stars were not allowed to enjoy emotional reunion scenes with their families as they left the camp.
The EastEnders star, Jess was assigned the seventh in the competition while opera singer Russell received the lowest votes.
Confetti rained down the pair as they made their exit after the double-elimination.
Asked about how they were feeling by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Jess,28, said “mixed emotions”, while Russell,54, added: “mixed emotions for me too as well. Can’t wait for a shave.”
“I’m emotional really, it just reminds me of what a good time we had in there. I got hit on the head and ate a few cockroaches- apart from that it was great.
“It felt difficult going in late, it felt like everyone had established a relationship, but no I settled in well”, Tenor Russell said after Dec prompted him further.
As the show continues six celebrities, Shane Richie, Giovanna Fletcher, Vernon Kay, Jordan North, AJ Pritchard and Mo Farah remain in with a chance of winning. The eviction from the programme’s new location of Gwrych Castle in North Wales will continue and conclude on Friday night.
