Kanye West found himself on the wrong side of the law after he flew in to the UK for a fashion show, a new report showed that the rapper has been reported to the police.
The rapper along with his seven-year-old daughter, North West were spotted attending the Bottega Veneta fashion show in the UK capital on Friday 9 October amid the ongoing global health crisis.
The pair were also spied in Selfridge’s where they were showing support for Kanye’s wife, and North’s mother, Kim Kardashian at the launch of one of her products – although the reality star was not there herself.
While Kanye was later spotted at other venues in London on the following day, including being snapped by a fan outside the Dorchester Hotel and later leaving a building in Queen’s Park.
Concerned Londoners then called the cops as the Covid rules state anyone flying into the UK from the US must stay indoors for two weeks. One of his social media followers railed: “Why can celebrities fly where they want? I don’t understand. I’m confused. I can’t go to the USA now.”
Another fan said: “Doesn’t it apply if you’re rich?”
A third hit out: “Shouldn’t let him into the UK. We’re not allowed to enter the US.” Self-isolation exemptions can be granted for unique work reasons.
Although the 43-year-old attended the star-studded London show, it was not known whether he was here for work. West has, however, he returned to the USA where he should surely have a busy few weeks ahead. Celebrations are imminent for his wife, Kim, who is set to turn 40 on Tuesday.
