BLACKPINK revealed the final eight-song tracklist for their upcoming debut album, which includes collaborations with Cardi B and Selena Gomez.
The K-pop girl group formed by YG Entertainment which consists of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, released their debut single album titled ‘Square One’ in August 2016 and have been flourishing in the music scene ever since.
For their upcoming first full album, the group had previously released the single ‘How You Like That’, which dropped in June after they had appeared on Lady Gaga’s ‘Chromatica’ track ‘Sour Candy’.
They then released a second single titled ‘Ice Cream‘ in August which features Selena Gomez, it also had Ariana Grande and Victoria Monét, amongst others, help co-write it.
BLACKPINK revealed the news of their full tracklist on social media with posts featuring hashtags for every song. The songs are titled ‘How You Like That’, ‘Lovesick Girls’, ‘Ice Cream’ featuring Selena Gomez, ‘Crazy Over You’, ‘Pretty Savage’, ‘Love To Hate Me’, ‘Bet You Wanna’ featuring Cardi B, and ‘You Never Know’.
Cardi B was also credited on the song ‘Bet You Wanna’ as a writer under her birth name, Belcalis Almánzar.
It is also interesting to note that Jisoo and Jennie also helped write their title track, ‘Lovesick Girls’, which they recently released a concept teaser video for on the groups’ official social media platforms.
BLACKPINK became the highest-charting female Korean group on the Billboard 100 chart after their Selena Gomez–featuring single ‘Ice Cream’ had reached number 13.
Their debut titled ‘The Album’ is set to arrive on October 2nd, 2020 at midnight EST and 1 p.m. KST, and fans of the group could not be more excited as they wait in anticipation to hear the full album.
