Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reunited on-screen on Thursday to do a risqué scene during an all-star table read of the 1982 movie “Fast Times At Ridgemont High”.
They were joined for the table read by the likes of Sean Penn – who played Jeff Spicoli in the original film, Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Henry Golding, Jimmy Kimmel, Shia LaBeouf, John Legend, Morgan Freeman, as well as host Dane Cook.
The event was officially titled “Dane Cook Presents Feelin’ A-Live Fast Times At Ridgemont High” and served as a fundraiser for the humanitarian organisation CORE [Community Organised Relief Effort].
The non-profit organization was co-founded by Sean Penn and REFORM Alliance in the battle against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Brad Pitt took on the role of Brad Hamilton, while his ex-wife Jennifer, played Linda Barrett, in the coming-of-age teenage romance-comedy.
The duo had to recreate one of the film’s most risqué scenes, where Jennifer’s character accidentally walks in on Brad’s character ‘daydreaming’ about her topless while being in the bathroom.
Legendary actor Morgan Freeman narrated the risqué scene, while everyone read the script virtually from their homes.
During the all-star table read, Julia Roberts played Brad’s younger sister, Stacy Hamilton, while Shia LaBeouf took the role of high school stoner and surfer Jeff Spicoli.
Sean Penn played a pizza delivery guy wearing a face mask who delivers food to Jeff in Mr. Hand’s classroom, with the teacher being played by Ray Liotta.
Actor Matthew McConaughey took on the role of ticket scalper Mike Damone and John Legend played football star Charles Jefferson.
Henry Golding played the teacher, Mr. Vargas, with Jimmy Kimmel taking on all the other supporting roles.
This marked the first time in years that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, who split in 2005, were seen reunited on-screen.
