Madonna spent Labor Day working on her screenplay that she is doing with Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody, the collaboration is said to be on the ‘life story’ of The Queen of Pop.
Sharing a few photos on social media of herself on Monday, Madonna can be seen looking over a film script that appeared to be marked up.
Taking to Instagram over the holiday weekend, Madonna told her fans that she was taking time to work on her latest film project with Diablo Cody.
The post was captioned: “In honor of labor day I will work #screenplay.”
The post comes after a recent video clip on Madonna’s Instagram feed that was shared on September 2nd, the clip hints that the project they are working on could definitely be about The Queen of Pop’s life story.
In the short clip, Madonna begins by joking: “I’m writing a different script.”
Screenwriter Diablo responds with: “What if you’re writing someone else’s life story, while I write yours?”
Other indications that the screenplay could be Madonna’s biopic is that the singer has been reminiscing about her life and achievements more recently lately as she shares them on social media with her fans.
In another recent post, Madonna and Diablo could be seen looking over Madonna’s inflammatory 1992 photobook Sex, which they reflect on why it caused so much controversy at the time.
Madonna spent the month of August celebrating her own 62nd birthday, which was on August 16th, and then her youngest twin daughters Estere and Stella, who turned eight years old just days later.
So as of late, it has been a mix of both work and fun for The Queen of Pop.
