Carrie Symonds Barred From Seeing The Prime Minister

A friend of Ms Symonds told the Daily Telegraph that Carrie was “distraught” and “in tears” when the Prime Minister was rushed to hospital on Sunday evening.

According to reports, Ms Carrie Symonds is prohibited from seeing both her fiancé, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is still in intensive care as a result of a severe COVID-19 case, and her mother, who is over 70 years old and vulnerable to the virus.  

Ms Symonds, who is 32-years-old, is pregnant with Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s baby and has been self-isolating.

On the 4th of April, Ms Symonds tweeted that she has been spending the past week in the bed after showing main symptoms of the COVID-19, she, however, added that she is feeling stronger and is on the mend. 

A friend of Ms Symonds told the Daily Telegraph that Carrie was “distraught” and “in tears” when the Prime Minister was rushed to hospital on Sunday evening. 

She added that Carrie is “deeply upset and concerned for his wellbeing.” 

It is believed that the Prime Minister’s condition is “improving” following several media reports.

There was a rainbow poster (symbolising hope during this difficult time) which was placed in the window of Downing Street, showcasing the words: “We are in this together.”

Mr Rishi Sunak said yesterday at a press conference that: “The latest from the hospital is that the Prime Minister remains in intensive care where his condition is improving. I can also tell you that he has been sitting up in bed and have been engaging positively with the clinical team.”
