Google has announced that its game-streaming service Stadia is now free if you have a Gmail account.

All you will need is a compatible device, controller, and good internet in one of the 14 supported countries, then you can sign up right now and get the “Pro” edition with a handful of built-in games for the next two months absolutely free.

Stadia VP and GM, Phil Harrison said: “We’re facing some of the most challenging times in recent memory. Video games can be a valuable way to socialize with friends and family when you’re stuck at home, so we’re giving gamers in 14 countries free access to Stadia for two months,”

Google Stadia is currently available in the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

In other Google news, Google has banned Zoom Video Chat App from its employees’ laptops, this comes as security and privacy concerns, about the way the app works, surfaced.

A Google spokesperson said: “Recently, our security team informed employees using Zoom Desktop Client that it will no longer run on corporate computers as it does not meet our security standards for apps used by our employees.”
