The Duchess Of Sussex Meghan Markle makes her Disney debut after landing the role as narrator for the documentary Elephant.
Last year at the Lion King premier, the Duchess of Sussex made headlines as her husband Prince Harry was overheard telling Disney boss Bob Iger with the Duke telling him”you know, she does voiceovers”
Meghan was later heard joining into a conversation between Harry and Jon Favreau saying “That’s really why we’re here, it’s the pitch!”
The pitch seemed to have paid off as Meghan Markle landed the role of narrating for the Disney documentary Elephant, which is due to be released shortly after the couple relinquishes their royal titles.
This will mark the couples first step to financial independence as they walk away from royal duties on March 31. The documentary is scheduled to be released three days later from 3 April.
Not only has Disney hired the Duchess of Sussex as narrator for the movie but they have also made a donation to the couples wildlife charity Elephants Without Borders.
The movie will be available on Disney’s streaming service Disney+ as of 3 April.
